Crow Canyon Archaeological Center, located near Mesa Verde National Park in southwest Colorado, is a nonprofit organization with over 40 years of impact in the state. As a designated Colorado Enterprise Zone Contribution Project, we are dedicated to advancing archaeology, experiential education, cultural resource management, and American Indian knowledge.
Your support makes it possible for us to provide curriculum and expand learning opportunities for K-12 and college students, helping them develop new perspectives on the rich history of the Southwest and apply lessons from the past to address today’s challenges. We provide professional development and job training in archaeology and anthropology for interns, Indigenous scholars, and graduate students. We collaborate with Native American communities to ensure our research and programs honor the ancestors who have lived on this land for generations.
