We are Durango's home for youth hockey. We are proud to provide comprehensive competitive hockey programs for over 165 kids ranging in age from 4 to 18. Our goal is to make hockey as affordable as possible so every child has an opportunity to try hockey for themselves and hopefully find a lifetime passion.

Durango Area Youth Hockey Association (DAYHA) is committed to providing quality ice hockey programs for Durango youth. We believe hockey develops character, work ethic, and sportsmanship as a solid foundation for our youth to succeed as young adults. Our programs include over 165 girls and boys ranging in age from 4 to 18. We continue to grow and are proud to introduce this fast, fun sport to growing numbers of Durango families.
Paul O'Neil brought hockey to SW Colorado before our organization was even born. His advocacy brought our first sheet of ice to Durango and in 2002, the Durango Area Youth Hockey, Assoc. was born. We have grown to over 165 athletes and are experiencing continued growth.
Our Hockey Director, former NHL player Alain Lemieux, has improved our ability to provide exceptional coaching, leadership and fun for our athletes as our teams become more competitive.
Our growing program does require more resources to fulfill our goals. Please consider giving to our general fund or to our scholarship program. We're grateful for all the support we receive from the our community.
