Durango Early Learning Center

Durango Early Learning Center is a licensed, play-based child care program serving up to 55 children daily, aged 18 months to 5 years, in La Plata County. Rated Level 4 by Colorado Shines, the center prioritizes family collaboration and community involvement, ensuring children develop kindergarten readiness skills alongside a strong social-emotional foundation.

Your COGIVES day gift up to$20,000 will directly support operating costs, tuition scholarships for low income families, and teacher benefits.  Our families and teachers are at the heart of our school and we are dedicated to providing a safe, nurturing, and reliable environment for all. After we have raised $20,000, the school will allocate the remaining donations to updating our dilapidated playground that was built in the 80's. The playground equipment has been deemed unsafe by the state which leaves our current and future students with very little play affordance outside. Your donations will ensure that our future students will have a nature based play space to explore, learn, and grow for generations to come.
