The Family Learning Center is committed to providing quality care and early childhood learning programs for children aged eight weeks to six years in the Edwards Eagle River Valley of Eagle County, Colorado. In order to fulfill our mission we rely on the generosity of donors like you.
Tuition is charged below cost in order to be affordable for all families and sliding-scale rate options are available to those in need. To date, FLC provides financial assistance to over 75% of our families and over 65% of FLC students have the additional risk factor of being second language learners.
We want all children and families to have access to early education programs regardless of income level. When our children succeed, our community succeeds. The mission of the Family Learning Center (FLC) is
to serve the community by creating an educational and social emotional foundation in which children thrive.
**FLC works in partnership with the community as a non-denominational, not-for-profit organization to serve children and families in the Eagle River Valley, Colorado providing affordable, quality early childhood learning programs and child care, using developmentally appropriate practices in a safe, healthy and nurturing environment.
The Family Learning Center has been serving Eagle River Valley children and their families since 1998. We partner with Eagle County to serve Early Head Start and Colorado Childcare Assistance Program and Universal Preschool programs. Currently, approximately 75% of our children receive need-based tuition support to attend school. The generosity of local businesses, individuals and foundations allows us to provide this critically needed support to over 123 children aged eight weeks to six years.
