Our rescue works hard to provide relief to areas experiencing critical levels of pet overpopulation, as well as animals in dire need of medical assistance. We rely heavily on donations to be able to provide a high level of medical care as well as transport these animals to foster homes in Colorado.
We have had nothing but wonderful experiences with this organization. We lost our beloved Frank in November 2020 to a massive brain hemorrhage. He was such a huge part of our lives that it left a massive hole in our household...especially during a pandemic. We signed up for several adoption websites and shortly thereafter got a response from Front Range Freedom Rescue. They had a Turkish Angora kitten that came from a hoarding situation and had been in foster care for several months. She did have some ongoing health issues because of the hoarding situation, but with medical care and a consistent diet, and a stable loving home, she is thriving. She will always have the health issue, but we signed up for that. She deserves to have a loving home and have her best life ever. We cannot say enough about the amazing start she was given by her foster mom, Laura. Our little girl would not have been as well socialized and ready for rehoming, had it not for for Laura. Jaime a was so easy to reach for questions and to set up the introduction to our little girl.
The entire adoption process was so seamless. If you want to adopt a rescue, please remember that these poor little ones have probably been through the worst of the worst situations and the rescue teams are doing everything in their power to save lives. They deserve our kindness and support in the very important work that they do every day. If you are looking for a "perfect" animal, rescue may not be the best place to look. These are animals that unfortunately have not been blessed with the best in life and are looking for that loving family that will accept them as they are and love them forever.

I was with my daughter yesterday at PetSmart in Highland Ranch when she completed the adoption procedure and picked up her fostered kitten Panther. I don't recall the young lady's name from your facility that met with the 'foster mother' but wanted to compliment both your employee and the foster mother for the wonderful job they did in providing this kitten for my daughter who's very delighted with her choice!! You can feel free to display my donation on the donor wall and perhaps just post this short comment: "We're so happy to support this wonderful pet rescue organization and its employees".

Our mission focuses primarily on the rescue and rehoming of homeless cats, primarily through transfer from rescues in New Mexico, Kansas, and other areas where pet overpopulation has reached critical levels. Our goals are to rehabilitate these animals through good nutrition, expert veterinary care, and socialization in loving foster homes.
Front Range Freedom Rescue was founded by three women with more than 80 years of cumulative rescue experience. During their time volunteering and working for shelters and rescues, they found that cats were severely underserved in the rescue space. They came together to found a rescue that not only prioritized cats, but also strove to offer them a high quality foster environment and expanded access to specialty medical care that would help those that were typically euthanized in a shelter environment. During the short time since its conception, FRFR has helped more than 2,000 animals escape high population shelters and find homes in Colorado.
