At Geneva Glen Camp, our mission is to provide the best possible experience for every camper. For over 100 years, we’ve focused on fostering timeless moral values and character growth in a nurturing environment. We aim to inspire and cultivate “The Magic of the Glen” in both campers and staff by offering high-quality, creative programs in a fun and supportive atmosphere, led by caring and responsible mentors.

The program offers unparalleled and vital experiences for developing a “whole” child. The unique relationships that campers form with their counselors—a mix of friend, mentor, and role model—along with authentic friendships with peers, help strengthen their sense of self. Campers leave Geneva Glen with deep connections, enhanced kindness, empathy, personal growth, the encouragement to confront challenges, and a greater acceptance of others. Our programs teach responsibility, understanding cultural differences, the courage to live authentically, and stewardship of the natural world, all while being unplugged from technology.

The vision of our founders in 1922 remains vibrant today, as Geneva Glen continues to honor tradition while innovating to meet the developmental and educational needs of children and young adults.

The Fellowship Fund

Join us in protecting the legacy of camp by contributing to the Geneva Glen Camp Fellowship Fund. This unrestricted fund will become a permanent resource to help shape the future of the Geneva Glen. Proceeds will help with camperships, infrastructure, land stewardship, seasonal staff development and training, programming, and other high-impact projects that will continue to keep Geneva Glen thriving for the next 100 years!

The Ken & Nancy Atkinson Campership Fund

The Ken and Nancy Campership Fund was created to award camperships (partial or full tuition) to families who are experiencing financial hardship.

Ken and Nancy, campership recipients themselves, worked tirelessly to ensure that camp was accessible to all children through financial support generously donated by our camp family each year.

In honor of Ken and Nancy's 35 years of devoted and steadfast leadership of the Glen, the Ken and Nancy Atkinson Campership Fund supports the Annual Campership Program and grows funds for future camperships.

Background Statement

Founded in 1922 as an educational and leadership training program, Geneva Glen Camp is a private, non-profit organization, and we are proud to celebrate over 100 years of successful seasons. Geneva Glen is operated by a volunteer Board of Directors comprised of camper parents, former staff, alums, and community leaders. Through our rich traditions, Geneva Glen welcomes hundreds of second-generation through sixth-generation campers each summer. Campers and leaders of diverse backgrounds return year after year, and such continuity produces youth committed to high values and leadership in their communities.

Geneva Glen Camp continually strives to provide a setting that emphasizes the development of sound values and the growth of character for each child attending the camp. We offer a unique and exciting educational and comprehensive leadership training

program for children ages 6-16. Camp programs provide the opportunity to live the values of mutual respect, honesty, and acceptance of others. Our programs also teach individual responsibility, understanding cultural differences, courage to live at one's best, and care for the natural environment. The vision of Geneva Glen's founders is as bright and clear as it was in 1922 and continues to guide the directors, staff, and campers on their journeys through Geneva Glen summers.
