The Board of Directors identified maternal and newborn health, as its initial programmatic focus area due to high rates of mortality around the globe. Global Health Foundation researches and builds partnerships to support innovative solutions that improve the health of people living in under-resourced communities around the world.
With the support of a $1 million contribution from an anonymous donor, the Global Health Foundation launched its maternal and newborn health program in 2014.
