GBX - the Golden Bicycle experience - is a 501c3 non-profit youth development club launched in Golden, Colorado in 2015.
Our mission is to ‘build stronger kids and stronger community through cycling.’ GBX programs are delivered by 50+ incredible coaches, including pros, ex-pros, national champions, teachers, community leaders and cycling industry veterans. We are recognized as a Center of Excellence and hold the Bronze SafeSport Bronze from USA Cycling.
Our vision is to be the recognized leader for youth outdoor programming in Golden, to provide scholarships to families who need the support, to be a responsible, sustainable and growing organization, and for GBX to be the center of cycling in our community.
In 2023, GBX will provide more than 9000 program hours to more than 370 young athletes!
Nearly 40% of our coaches and young athletes are female.
