Grand Junction Economic Partnership

A nonprofit organization

The Grand Junction Economic Partnership (GJEP) focuses on economic development within Mesa County, including the City of Grand Junction, City of Fruita, and the Town of Palisade.

GJEP works to create quality jobs and expand capital investment in Mesa County through the attraction, expansion, and retention of primary business. We believe in building a community where everyone can forge their own path forward.

To accomplish our mission and vision, we work closely with local and state leaders to connect businesses with the resources they need. Additionally, we collaborate with several Economic Development partners with a pro-business mindset to elevate our community. Through the support of our investors and the community at large, we can assist businesses and strengthen our community.

At the GJEP, we:

  • Connect businesses with local, state, and federal incentives
  • Provide a unique portfolio of available land & commercial buildings
  • Connect businesses with state and local community leaders
  • Provide relocation support and services
  • Promote the region's business assets and community success stories
  • Organize the Western Colorado Economic Summit
  • Collaborate with Economic Development partners with a pro-business mindset

We are problem solvers, thought leaders, and passionate advocates for Western Colorado. We are the dedicated support system for businesses relocating or expanding in our region. These efforts are supported by the commitment of partners like you!

For every $1 invested in GJEP in 2023, we create $65 in economic impact.

Last year, through the support of our investors, GJEP was able to generate momentum in our community by supporting several business relocations and expansions. These efforts yielded:

•10 Wins (business expansions / relocations)

• 16 Local Assists

• 161 actual jobs created in 2023 (Avg. salary = $61,085)
