Plentiful provides human-first technology to get people the nutrition support they need in a more efficient and sustainable way. Our neighbors are facing food insecurity at higher rates than years prior leading to long lines and not enough food at pantries. Plentiful was invented to spread demand and provide a more dignified process for our neighbors seeking charitable food so they don't leave empty handed. We created a free, easy-to use reservation system for food pantries and the community members they serve.
Our neighbor platform is available in 9 languages on web, mobile app or SMS text enabling neighbors facing food insecurity to quickly locate nearby food pantries, manage reservations, and access food faster—helping them save valuable time and money on expenses like childcare and lost income from time off work.
Expansion to Colorado began as a small Aurora pilot in 2021 and has since grown to verify over 75 charitable food providers and 178,000 total household members have benefitted from Plentiful tools, bridging the gap of food insecurity and empowering a smoother process to reliably access food. Today, provider locations span beyond Denver Metro to include Fort Collins, Sterling, Pueblo, Rocky Ford, Conifer and Evergreen.
Colorado is also the home base for most of Plentiful’s team, several of whom have first-hand experience working in or receiving charitable food supports. This empathy, understanding, and constant curiosity enables Plentiful to continue to improve its flow, security, and overall user experience leading to more People and Food, Connected.
