We merge behavioral science and coaching to empower you to rise and thrive beyond your circumstances. We want everyone to create the life they want for themselves, whatever that may be.
We believe recovery support should be accessible to all. From meetings and peer support coaches to counseling and therapy, we provide various avenues for support tailored to individual needs.
We believe in empowering our community through knowledge and skill-building. Our accredited educational programs train individuals to become peer recovery coaches and offer professional development for those working in recovery settings.

Background Statement
The HardBeauty Foundation began in 2013 as Helping Everyone Recover, a heartfelt response to the devastating Black Forest Fires. Founded by Racquel Garcia, alongside her daughter Mackenzie, the organization initially focused on supporting individuals who had lost everything, helping them to rebuild their lives. Then, in 2019, after two unrelated student suicides at local high schools in a single weekend, Racquel and Tiffany Kuhwede recognized the urgent need for mental health resources in the community and established HardBeauty Hope Groups, creating a safe and welcoming space for youth to discuss struggles with suicide and self-harm.
Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, HardBeauty evolved into a statewide movement committed to uplifting individuals through every stage of their recovery journey. Serving all people aged 14 and older, HardBeauty offers support for recovery from trauma, mental health struggles, substance use, and other life challenges. Our organization provides a wide range of resources, including community counseling, stigma reduction training, and specialized services such as AcuWellness and youth-focused support. Additionally, we are dedicated to developing Colorado's Peer Recovery workforce, empowering individuals to become Peer Recovery Support Specialists and advocates within their communities.
Today, the HardBeauty Foundation stands as a powerful force for change across Colorado, fostering connection, resilience, and hope for anyone who seeks to reclaim their life.
