Testimonials
"My name is Grace and I am 11 years old. I have been on Highlands Ranch Aquatics (HRA) for four years as a competitive swimmer. Because of HRA, swimming has become my passion. The coaches are so inspirational for me, they have helped me realize that if I work hard and believe in myself I can achieve almost anything. HRA is like a second family to me. I have more best friends on the team than I do at school, and I have a lot of friends at school.
Swimming has given me the confidence to be successful. I have trouble hearing out of my right ear which can be a challenge at swim practice and at swim meets when I am listening for the start of a race, but I have been able to work hard to overcome this obstacle. My coaches have also helped me by using a white board during practices and writing down practice sets so I know exactly what to do.
I could not live without swimming! I love the swim practices and racing at swim meets, especially the away meets! I love spending time with all of my teammates and my coaches! My coaches have taught me to never give up and to always be positive. I love HRA!"

"I wanted to take a moment to write about what an important part Highlands Ranch Aquatics (HRA) has played in our family's life for 8 years now. HRA provides an environment to create not only good athletes, but good people. The coaching staff and parents work to help teammates support and mentor each other, as well as providing special resources for swimmers to learn about how to communicate and present themselves on social media. The coaches also work on goal setting and provide leadership opportunities that will be beneficial to the team. Additionally, the team has worked to volunteer together at community races to give back to the local area.
This spirit of teamwork has been exemplified on numerous occasions, but most recently with the illness and unfortunate death of one of our swim moms. Swimmers themselves created what is now a scholarship foundation in honor of that mom, coming up with a special logo and merchandise to sell, raising money to go to other other swimmers in the area who are dealing with the loss of a parent or loved one.
I've seen my kids be challenged to grow not only physically, but mentally as well. Impressively, 6 of the 7 graduating seniors from this past year are heading to swim at NCAA Division 1 schools, all of whom I am confident will do quite well because of their experience with HRA. I am proud and feel quite blessed that our children have gotten the unique opportunity to learn how to be the best athletes and citizens they can be."
