Hope and Home

A nonprofit organization

The worst thing that could happen to a child when they enter foster care is to be placed with a family that treats them like a paycheck. Hope & Home has responded by implementing the "Gold Standard" in foster care, certifying only the best families to provide love and care for kids in foster care.

Testimonials

"We love working with Hope & Home! Foster care has grown us in ways we didn't know we could grow and has enriched our lives in ways we didn't know were possible."

"Hope & Home doesn't simply provide great support, they are fundamentally re-imagining foster care."

"Hope & Home has been a joy...The support they offer is great. Hope & Home, keep up the wonderful work. You all are awesome!"

Mission

As a nondenominational Christian charity, Hope & Home trains and actively supports foster families all across Colorado to care for children in foster care.

Children and teens who have been abused and neglected are placed with a stable and nurturing foster family to live with until it’s safe to go home again, or when that safety isn’t possible, a family to give them a forever home through adoption.

Our strength comes from our commitment to children, from our large and highly invested community of donors and supporters, and from our pledge to only accept first-rate foster parents who believe, as we do, that no child should ever feel less than loved.

Background Statement

In 1998, Hope & Home started with a few concerned members of a church Sunday school group who saw foster kids being treated like second-class citizens, or worse, and decided to do something about it.

Today, nearly 25 years later, we've turned foster care upside down and have emerged as one of the largest, most dynamic child placement agencies (CPAs) in the state of Colorado - with hundreds of children rescued from the foster care system and happily adopted. Each year we provide short- and long-term, in-family care to hundreds of children in crisis.
