Hospice del Valle

A nonprofit organization

When a person has a terminal illness, the focus of treatment often turns from cure to care. Hospice care is more than a place or agency - it is a philosophy of healthcare for persons that seek not to prolong life, but to ensure that in the time left is as full and comfortable as possible.

Testimonials

On behalf of our family we cannot thank you for the kindness and dignity you showed my Aunt and both my mom and myself during the end of life process. We are so very grateful for the heartfelt time Hospice del Valle staff spent with Aunt Louise. For us, this time is filled with sweet sorrow, the loss of a loved one and the end of her suffering. We will look back on this time with gratitude because we were our best selves for Louise and a large reason we could do that was because of hospice. You all are the best examples of humanity this world has to offer. - Maria Lopez, May 2016

I have been under hospice care for quite a while and I have had nothing but excellent service. The doctor, the nurse, the CNA, the counselor, and the chaplain have been extremely attentive. I have also used the after-hours emergency number and got all of my questions answered. I have peace of mind knowing that Hospice del Valle is available during this very vulnerable time of my life. - Aliyah Alexander, January 2018
