It is our goal to educate the community on responsible pet ownership, provide assistance to low income individuals, as needed, for spay/neuter expenses and emergency veterinary services. We assist the Craig Animal Shelter in procuring suitable homes for adoptable animals.
Mission
It is our mission to enhance the health and well-being of companion animals in Moffat County.
Background Statement
The Humane Society of Moffat County began in May of 2002 and became a registered 501(c)(3) organization in 2003. We are an all-volunteer, non-profit organization, with no affiliation to any regional, state or national organization. We do not own or operate the Craig Animal Shelter, but do provide as much assistance to the shelter as possible. Since inception, we have developed a core group of members, volunteers and professional supporters.
