Housing + Support = Stability

The Inn Between has been providing families and individuals facing homelessness a pathway to a more stable future for 31 years.

Testimonials

For our residents, The Inn is more than just shelter; it's a home that offers hope for the future. A recent resident shared, "I'm so grateful. The Inn Between really saved my life. I left a life of domestic violence. I love it here, and I call it home. Now I am saving for a place for me and my daughter. After my time with The Inn Between, I will never be homeless again."

"The Inn Between is an amazing stepping stone for people who are getting back on their feet. I wish there were more programs like this one to help people because they helped me to grow and succeed."

-A Former Inn Resident

"Without question what attracts me most about the agency is the Inn's ability to change people's lives for the long term. I have seen the results first-hand: their participants want to get back on their feet and improve their lives for the long-term."

Mission

"To provide affordable housing and promote stability to diverse families and individuals by utilizing community resources, advocacy, and life skills training."

Background Statement

For over 30 years, The Inn Between has been a beacon of hope, providing affordable housing and a path to long-term stability for low-income households facing homelessness. Our community faces a critical shortage of affordable housing, leaving many vulnerable individuals and families in a housing crisis.

Homelessness in our community affects people from all walks of life. Those experiencing it might not be visible on the streets; they could be serving you coffee, or their children might be classmates with yours. They lack a stable residence, often finding refuge in motels, vehicles, or other temporary situations. The relentless struggle to find stability is exhausting, diverting precious time and energy from building a better future.

With six buildings in Longmont, The Inn is the trusted housing resource in the St. Vrain Valley, operating at full capacity year-round to provide safe and affordable housing for low-income families. Last year, we provided a safe haven for 243 individuals ranging from infants to seniors, 106 of them being children from the St. Vrain Valley School District! In addition, we are excited to announce that we will break ground on the Wesley Townhomes at the end of this year. This project will add 11 new 2-3 bedroom units to our inventory, expanding our reach to seven buildings and allowing us to serve more people in our community.

At The Inn Between, families find more than just shelter; they find a place where parents can rest easy knowing their children are safe and can focus on simply being kids. Adults gain new skills, re-enter the workforce, and overcome financial setbacks to achieve long-term housing stability. Our Education Center supports children in bridging achievement gaps, while elderly and disabled residents on fixed incomes discover a permanent housing solution.

Our dedicated Advocates champion each resident, helping them navigate resources and build a stable future. At The Inn, homelessness becomes a chapter in their lives, not the entire story.

Every household's success strengthens our community. With your generous donation, you can provide the keys to home and a brighter future.
