14 Year-Old with Seizures from Abuse Trauma
My son began struggling with seizures from abuse trauma at eight years old. I searched for many therapies to help him from the underlying cause of the trauma causing the seizures. Due to financial constraints, it was challenging to find help for my son I could afford. I was referred to Jade Kids where the steadfast care they provided helped my son to heal and cope from the trauma and help prevent future trauma. Because of this help and dedication to the therapeutic and preventative care my son received, he is a healthy, thriving teenager today. We are very grateful for Jade Kids and all of the free treatments provided fro my son, making his healing journey clearer, smoother, larger and brighter to be where he is today.
9 Year-Old with Chronic Constipation and Stomach Pain
My daughter suffered from chronic constipation since the age of three caused by many medical procedures since birth. She saw a number of traditional specialists who did a few blood tests, restricted her diet and put her on medications which they continued to increase. The chronic constipation and stomach aches did not resolve. After two years of treatments with Jade Kids, going to the bathroom is no longer an issue. Now she has no pain, no dietary restrictions and takes a tiny bit of medication. We are incredibly grateful for Jade Kids. My daughter looks forward to her treatment sessions.
Infant with Torticollis (Twisted Neck)
My son was born with Torticollis. He began treatments with Jade Kids at four months old. I knew the benefits of Five Element treatments would complement his traditional therapy treatments. Each session helps to integrate his system while supporting his body. It calms him and centers him. He is down to monthly PT visits, is excelling in strength and development and is a calm and happy child. I give so much credit to the Jade Kids treatments for helping his physical and energetic growth.

Organization History
Jade Woman de LaLonde, Inc. dba Jade Kids was founded as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation in 2011 by Judi Terrill, Licensed Acupuncturist and longtime Chinese Medicine Practitioner, Mentor and Teacher. The purpose of Jade Kids is to help children and their families by promoting health and well-being through treatments and training using the Five Element nature-based theory of Chinese Medicine. The treatments and training are provided regardless of the family's ability to pay.
With nature as her basis and guide, Ms. Terrill developed a Five Element Program which she uses in her private practice, Jade Woman Enterprises. She specializes in Five Element Acupuncture which she integrates with her Traditional Chinese Medicine Training to provide a unique modality for physical, mental, emotional and spiritual healing. This Five Element model of Chinese medicine is the nature-based art form of the medicine which uses elements in nature - specifically, water, wood, fire, earth and metal - to identify individual characteristics, needs and best environment for healthy development and well-being.
Over the following years, additional clinic locations were established throughout the Denver metro area. The primary focus of these Pediatric Clinics has been to treat children who have experienced trauma, exhibited behavioral challenges, or suffered from physical symptoms that traditional Western medicine and other treatment modalities have been unable to successfully diagnose or address.
Several Chinese Medicine practitioners have received advanced training from Judi in both the specialized Five Element model she developed and in pediatric care. These practitioners completed a comprehensive five-year program under her supervision to gain the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively treat children within this integrative framework. Currently, two satellite Jade Kids Pediatric Clinics operate within the Denver metropolitan area, providing compassionate, holistic care to children and their families. Since the establishment of the first Pediatric Clinic, more than 3,000 treatments have been administered to pediatric patients.
There is an urgent and ongoing need for adequate funding to ensure that Jade Kids can continue its vital work—helping children heal from the deep effects of trauma and guiding them toward resilience, hope, and emotional well-being. With continued community support, Jade Kids can expand access to care and transform the lives of even more children and families who are seeking healing and a brighter future.
