What was the one thing you wished you had learned in school?
Most people will say, "Money!"
That's what we do!
Know Your Dough provides in-person financial literacy education to hundreds of youths and young adults
through schools and organizations in SW Colorado,
inspiring them to start their path towards financial literacy and independence.
We believe that teaching students the basics of money management at a young age lays the foundation
for students to build strong money habits
empowers them to become financially secure, independent adults.
Our goal is to help create a generation of adults who are financially responsible, resourceful, and self-reliant.
What do we do? Inspire
Know Your Dough inspires youths and young adults to become financially secure, independent adults by delivering in-person, high quality, life-changing financial skills.

We offer comprehensive 5-day programs in schools and 1- or 2-hour customized programs for older students and young adult organizations. Know Your Dough reaches over 1000 students annually.
Why do we do it? Empower
Know Your Dough empowers young people to take control of their financial futures by giving them personal financial knowledge and skills. Our network of volunteers and donors make it possible for the youth of today to become confident financial decision-makers of tomorrow.
