Lacrosse Edge is a 501(c)3 and was started in 2023 in Colorado. Youth are not only taught about the sport of lacrosse but also about the indigenous culture and character development. The Creator's Game is much more than catching and passing. It is about working together, clearing your mind...almost a medicine.
Dr. Alex Tuel has been a coach since the early 2000s and wanted to tie his love for the game as well as his education and history backgrounds into working towards a common goal - molding the entire youth player.
Thus, Lacrosse Edge was created.
In June of 2024 Mavrix Lacrosse traveled to Calgary to compete in its first box lacrosse tournament ever and at the largest box lacrosse tournament in North America. And...they brought home a gold medal in their division.
