Life-Line respects and values all diverse life experiences, personal beliefs and heritages which ensure that all voices are valued and heard. Life-Line’s theory of change and program models are foundationalized upon the evidence-based Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs (Basic needs, safety, psychological and Self Actualization). Life-Line consists of three programmatic departments. Reentry initiative, Communities With intentions (NADA Acudetox) and Urban Impact (Youth Violence Reduction). Successes are both measured and based upon each participant's programmatic objectives, program measures, outcomes as well as funder objectives. By providing compassionate care, resources and linkage to outside community services, Life-Line as a whole, aims to target, address and resolve three Problematic issues within our communities and surrounding systems: (1) Reduce the recidivism rate in regard to community reentry from DOC and DYS. (2) Reduce the violence amongst youth and interrupt the school to prison pipeline and (3) help teach and support individuals through the process of coping and healing in regard to mental health and addictions.
