Mission
The Logan County Humane Society's mission is to protect and prevent cruelty to animals through education, advocacy, direct care, emergency response services, and animal control services.
Background Statement
The Logan County Humane Society assumed responsibility for operation of the local animal shelter from the City of Sterling in 2005. Animals are provided weatherproof shelter, food, medical care and every effort is made for adoption or reclaiming. Adoptions have tripled since the opening of our new facility.
