Serving 1500 people a month, the ‘Love FoCo Resource Center’ will collaborate with numerous nonprofits to alleviate poverty in Fort Collins, Larimer County, and the surrounding area by offering:

● Human Services such as food, clothing, transportation, & health care; ● Educational training related to self-care, financial guidance & long-term planning, and ESL (English as a second language);

● Community engagement through youth sports camps and teen leadership development; ● Mentoring/coaching of teen parents;

● Recovery from substance abuse.

Through our collaborative approach by volunteers, local non-profits, and the faith community, we can provide support that encourages financial stability, holistic health, and long-term sustainability/growth.

The financial challenges of living in Fort Collins & the surrounding area are increasing. The area is experiencing incredibly high rents (2 bedroom averages $1719/mo), a growing number of people living at or below the poverty line (currently $34,100 for a family of four), and inflation eating away at any emergency savings that under-resourced families may have. With these factors at play, the 38,500 families living at or below the poverty line in our area are only one emergency away from extreme financial risk and potential homelessness.

By investing in the ‘Love FoCo Resource Center,’ you will be part of a systematic and preventative initiative aimed at supporting individuals and families in their time of greatest need. Although many of these families are only one accident away from extreme hardship, they’re also only one partnership away from generational success. Your investment alongside the multiple nonprofit partners will result in a cohesive and comprehensive care package, breaking the cycle of generational poverty and supporting families in situational moments of extreme need.

Our partner, Vineyard Church of the Rockies (VOTR), has graciously offered the full use of their 7200 sq/ft building at 1213 Riverside Ave. which was donated to them in 2021. VOTR has demonstrated a 40+ year history of serving the under-resourced and at-risk populations of our community and we are thrilled to partner with them. However, renovations and building codes need to be addressed before community engagement can begin. Renovation costs will be $1.2 million, with construction lasting 6-8 months.

100% of your investment will go directly to project costs as all operating costs are supported by previous donors and VOTR has agreed to support ongoing monthly expenses as a service to the community. Love Foco is a 501(c)3 status, so all donations will be tax-deductible.

Together, we can impact the lives of 1500 people/month or 18,000 people/year in a positive, transforming way. You can learn more by visiting www.lovefoco.com or by contacting Jeff Faust directly at jeff@lovefoco.com.
