Mission

The goal of MHRC is to promote and encourage the growth and development of rowing by providing appropriate instruction, training programs, and facilities for junior rowers throughout the greater Denver area.

Background Statement

Coaches Grace Malacrida, Kati O'Hara and parent volunteers started the Mile High Rowing Club in March 2008 when no youth program was available through Rocky Mountain Rowing Club. We were originally called Rocky Mountain Junior Crew. Mile High was established as its own club February 20, 2009. With the help of parent volunteers, Coach Grace launched the club with several old shells at Cherry Creek Reservoir.

Thanks to dedicated coaches and parents, the club has acquired many new rowing shells along with docks and a shed to house the team's oars and gear. Mile High High Rowing Club would like to thank all those who have dedicated their time and energy into helping the Club grow into the wonderful organization it is today.
