At Mother Gaia Animal Rescue, we believe every animal deserves a second chance, just like Liberty did. Liberty came to us with an embedded collar after months of neglect, chained up and forgotten. With your support, she received the medical care, love, and rehabilitation needed to heal. Today, Liberty is thriving in her forever home, happy and free.
Liberty is just one of many who have come to us in heartbreaking circumstances. Journey was found beaten and abandoned in a box, covered in mange. She was so scared of humans after being rescued, but with time and patience she found her forever home that helps her gain confidence every day. Chia was abandoned with a broken leg. She had to have it removed and learn to live life on 3 legs. It didn't slow her down from finding her perfect home! These animals need care and love, not abandonment. We need your support to continue helping animals like Liberty, Journey and Chia get a second chance at life and families that love them.
We have felt the decline in donations over the last couple of years yet veterinarian costs keep rising and shelters are at full capacity. Our medical cases don't stop, however, and our reserves are gone. We are relying on you to help us get through another year. Can you help those like Liberty, Journey and Chia?
Mother Gaia Animal Rescue is a non-profit, licensed, foster and volunteer-based rescue for pets in need of new homes. Our mission is to rescue animals in shelters and place into foster homes where they can receive medical care, training, and love until they’re ready to go into their forever home – many of which come from areas with overpopulation and high euthanasia rates.
Founded in 2017, Mother Gaia Animal Rescue is a federally recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to providing homes to at risk animals. Mother Gaia Animal Rescue has helped find homes for over 1,200 homeless animals.
We focus on quality over quantity and responsible rescuing.
