Welcome to the Mutual Aid Food Distribution & Resource Day! AKA, the MAP Distro :)
A community-driven event that lowers barriers and creates positive change. It feels like a bustling farmer's market, but with free resources, including:
- A choice food pantry - you pick out what you need!
- A hot breakfast station, homemade soups, and sack lunches.
- Haircuts - that boost dignity & promote self-care!
- Dog & Cat vaccinations - we love our furry friends :)
- Bus passes & gas cards - when transportation is a barrier to accessing services & housing
We host various community partners, which rotate weekly, providing resource navigation, care coordination and building relationships as they focus on meaningful outreach through a lens of accessibility. Will you join us in supporting our neighbors this giving season?

Mutual Aid Partners is a network that supports and connects grassroots efforts in Mesa County, Colorado by facilitating communication & education, and by boosting collaboration & accessibility to resources & volunteers.
Driven by the spirit of solidarity and focusing on action-driven, creative solutions, we listen and work within our community to build a deeply rooted, sustainable support system.
Background Statement
Formed in 2020 as a community-led response to fill support gaps during the pandemic, MAP has assisted over 85,000 families through the weekly distribution of food, clothing, hygiene essentials, period products, and facilitated access to transportation, health care, and housing stability. Grounded in the principles of mutual aid, MAP is focused on community building, advocacy, and education through a platform that reduces food insecurity and strengthens community connections in Mesa County.
