The Niwot High School Education Foundation enriches the academic experiences and expands the educational opportunities for all students at Niwot High School.
In partnership with our community, the NHSEF endeavors to enrich the academic experience through learning and teaching grants, to expand opportunities for students to explore the next steps in their education and professions, and to award scholarships to Niwot High School students, enabling them to achieve their goals. Some of our more recent grants include technology upgrades, art supplies, engineering equipment, forensic coach, choir students' NYC performances, mindfulness projects, ThesCon, PE equipment, music and math software, musical accompanist, professional development, college campus visits, IB WSC and numerous field trips.
Our Mission: To engage and inspire the community in support of enriching the teaching
and learning experience at Niwot High School.
Since our modest start, the community's generous support of the Foundation has allowed its impact to grow. In our first year, the Foundation grants were under $100. Over the past five years, the Foundation grants averaged $25,000 per year to Niwot High School, with additional funding for major projects.
Today, the NHSEF Board of Directors is comprised of parents, community members, teacher and staff representatives, members of the student council and the NHS principal.
