River Valley Family Health Centers’ goal is to meet the needs of our community by working with your insurance and income status. We accept most insurances including: Medicare, Medicaid, and CHP+. We also offer discounted medical services on a sliding fee scale for qualifying patients. River Valley FHC is an Outreach and Enrollment Site and can assist you in applying for Medicaid and insurance on Connect for Health. We are a nonprofit, 501(c)(3) entity. River Valley Family Health Center is a deemed federal public health service. River Valley Family Health Center, as a Federally Qualified Health Center, is covered by the Federal Tort Claims Act (FTCA).
This health center receives HHS funding and has federal tort claims act deemed status with respect to certain health or health-related claims, including medical malpractice claims, for itself and its covered individuals.

Our roots began in 1994 when Montrose Memorial Hospital opened the Olathe Medical Clinic in Olathe to serve the healthcare needs of the uninsured, low-income and migrant and seasonal agricultural workers within the area.
To increase access, the clinic applied for and received a grant from the US Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), transitioning to a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in June 2012. At that time, we were located in a modular in Olathe with only 4 exam rooms and two part time medical providers and one Behavioral Health Professional!
Since 2012, we have grown to three clinics in Montrose, Delta and Olathe. In August 2019, we opened our new Montrose site, with 20 exam rooms and a full-service pharmacy on-site that is open to the public.
All of our clinics offer affordable health care, with a Sliding Fee Scale for those who qualify. If you need help signing up for insurance, our Enrollment team can help!
We see all comers! If you have Medicaid, Medicare, Commercial Insurance, or no insurance, you are welcome at River Valley. Just fill out the new patient packet and we will make you an appointment for you with our Enrollment team.
