Founded in 2001, Paonia Players offers youth and community theatre programs, productions, private training and team building opportunities in Paonia, Colorado.
For the past 23 years, Paonia Players' mission has been to build community and support mental health by providing theatre education and performance opportunities for children, teens, and adults.
We believe that Theatre is a wonderful unifier, as there are people from all walks of life who enjoy telling stories by acting them out in front of an audience. Theatre students must constantly practice empathy, collaboration, listening and self-expression. These skills are essential for building strong communities and self-aware individuals, and our organization is committed to nourishing and upholding the development of our students with this greater purpose in mind.
