Testimonials

“Because of ArtLab I learned to believe in myself more and give myself a chance when out of my comfort zone. It is one of the best if not the best experience I had during my high school career and ArtLab became my safe space.” - AL Intern

“I love the sense of community at ArtLab! Everyone here is so kind and welcoming I always feel like I (and anyone who may join) have a place in ArtLab.” - AL Intern

“It was a safe haven for me; a constant I could always come back to once a week and spend time making things I was passionate about. I could talk to like-minded people about the process and meet new people too. It was a great experience.” - AL Intern

“My residency at PlatteForum has been incredible. Having access to so much support from the staff for resources, really concentrated time to focus on my practice, has been super expansive.” - Lexy

“The residency was an amazing opportunity to experiment with new approaches to my work and share what I do through teaching. I met lots of wonderful people through the process. It also pushed me to gain more confidence in talking about my artistic process with others.” - Tricia
