VFW Post 1, an all volunteer non profit, supports Veterans with programs and direct relief funds. In 2020, 55 & 2021 78 Veterans were helped with direct assistance for rent, food, car repair and more. Your donation will go directly to our Relief Fund and help those who need it most.

Mission
Post 1 Foundation's mission is to build, support, and preserve VFW Post 1's Veterans' service programs while bringing together Veterans, families and the community in the public square of Veteranship.
Background Statement
VFW Post 1 is the first Veterans of Foreign Wars in the world, established in 1899 by returning Veterans of the Spanish-American War to help each other upon their return. Today VFW Post 1 continues that mission by providing program and services to help Veterans. In 2014, the Post 1 Foundation was created to support VFW Post 1's fundraising and program delivery efforts.
Currently, we undergoing a major renovation for the VFW Post 1 Veteran Community Center.
OUR VISION: Expand current and new programs at the new Veteran Community Center.
