Do Good. Feel Good.

Project Helping was founded in April of 2014. In the last 9 years more than 16,000 individuals have volunteered at a Project Helping event and over 250,000 Kynd Kits (volunteer projects in a box) have been distributed. To date, 2 million+ people have been impacted through our programs.

Your generous gift will directly support our growth in providing more accessible volunteer experiences and relevant mental health resources for individuals across the world!

Mission

Our mission is to make the mental wellness benefits of volunteering ridiculously accessible.

We do this by providing access to more than 27,000 unique experiences for volunteers to Do Good and Feel Good annually, delivering accessible volunteer projects called Kynd Kits, and placing free Teen and Youth Mental Health Kynd Kits in middle and high schools across the country.

Background Statement

From our Founder:

"I founded Project Helping based on my personal experience with mental wellness. Like many people living with a mental health challenge, no one close to me knew I was struggling. I had a great job. I was successful. It seemed like I had everything – and truly I did. But privately, I was struggling.

Then, something completely unexpected happened. I was invited to volunteer. I had no clue that experience would not only change my approach to my own mental wellness but also change my life trajectory. The more I volunteered, the better I felt. The better I felt, the more I started to realize that volunteering was helping me improve my mental wellness."
