Prospect Ridge Academy is a K-12 tuition free charter school in Broomfield, Colorado with an average student population of 1,400 students. In conjunction with Giving Tuesday and Colorado Gives Day, PRA is excited to take part in our annual PRA Gives Week, which will run from Tuesday, December 3 through Tuesday, December 10.
The campaign starts on the nationally celebrated day of giving, Giving Tuesday (Dec. 3), and ends on the final day of the statewide fundraising initiative, Colorado Gives Day (Dec. 10). As a 501(c)(3) organization, all donations made are eligible for the full charitable deduction.
PRA’s goal for this year’s week-long campaign is to have 75% participation across the over 3,100 people who make up our PRA community between parents, teachers and staff.
Contributions to our Annual Give Fund empowers PRA to provide additional staff and student resources. Any donation between now and Tuesday, December 10 also counts toward Colorado Gives Day and the $1 million+ Incentive Fund, which amplifies the impact of each dollar raised by organizations. For example, if a nonprofit organization receives 10% of the total donations made on Colorado Gives Day, that same nonprofit receives 10% of the $1 Million Incentive Fund, one of the largest giving-day incentive funds in the country.
