Tired of seeing food waste end up in landfills? Wondering why we're trucking food scraps across the state, when compost can happen anywhere?

You're in the right place! 

PBC's Purple Bucket Brigade is building a network of volunteer composters across Colorado. Your donations provide free collection buckets, tools, and training to individuals who want to compost in their own neighborhoods.  They keep some or all of the finished compost for their garden or farm, and share the rest with their community.  Your donation supports these community composting champions by:

• Equipping more volunteers with composting supplies.
• Expanding our program to new communities.
• Providing ongoing support and education to our volunteers.
• Creating a model for sustainable waste management that can operate anywhere in the state.

It is our promise to you that 100% of your donations are used to provide resources and equipment for our incredible volunteer composters and to spread the mission to new communities across Colorado.
