As Giving Tuesday approaches, we’re reflecting on what equity in learning truly means. At RESCHOOL, we believe that every young person deserves access to learning opportunities that align with their interests, support their growth, and nurture their potential — regardless of background or financial circumstances. This Giving Tuesday, we invite you to join us in making “Equity for Every Learner” a reality, by supporting initiatives that empower families and open doors to enriching, personalized learning experiences.

What Equity in Learning Means

Equity in learning goes beyond simply providing access; it’s about creating pathways that are as diverse and unique as the families we serve. RESCHOOL’s mission is to ensure that every family has the freedom and resources to explore learning on their terms. Through partnerships with local organizations, schools, and communities, we’re building an ecosystem where families can shape their learning journeys, choosing the learning programs and activities that best fit their values, goals, and interests.

How RESCHOOL Creates Pathways to Learning

RESCHOOL’s approach is community-driven, based on partnerships that expand access to valuable learning resources. Two of our cornerstone programs, Learning Dollars and Pick-a-Pass, are designed to give families flexible options to support learning outside traditional school systems.

  1. Learning Dollars: This program provides flexible funding for families to pursue a variety of out-of-school learning opportunities. With Learning Dollars, families can enroll their children in extracurricular camps, arts classes, sports programs, and other activities that foster growth and exploration. These resources empower families to create learning pathways that reflect each child’s unique interests.
  2. Pick-a-Pass: Through Pick-a-Pass, families receive year-long memberships to Denver’s cultural institutions, such as the Denver Zoo and the Botanic Gardens. This program allows families to experience hands-on learning and make lasting memories together, with the freedom to visit these spaces whenever it fits into their lives.

With the support of our partners and donors, RESCHOOL has been able to expand these programs, reaching families across Denver and beyond. Together, we’re breaking down the barriers that limit access and creating a learning landscape that truly values each child’s potential.
