Volunteer-built, operated and maintained statewide network of radio repeaters used to provide auxiliary/emergency communications for agencies responding to disasters and events. Able to operate independently of commercial phone, Internet and power systems. Our sole source of funding is donations.
Deploy, operate and maintain a network of digital radio repeaters across Colorado to ensure readiness to support communications used by public safety, public service agencies and other NGO's for relief and recovery during disasters and other emergency and non-emergency events. Maintain a 'command post on wheels' radio communications trailer with satellite, cell, and a myriad selection of radio band services which can be deployed anywhere in the state. Maintain "Quick Response Vehicles (QRV's) with similar capabilities as our communications trailer.
