Invest in the rural youth of Routt County with a gift to the Routt County 4-H Scholarship Foundation.
Because of 4-H, I decided to choose a career and life in Agriculture. I plan to finish college, and then move back to Clark to run my family’s ranch.
~Justin Heid, 2023 4-H scholarship recipient
As a student studying agriculture, I greatly appreciate the Routt County 4-H program and everything it has done for me throughout my time as a member and in my life.
~Jess Diehl, 2023 4-H scholarship recipient
The passion I have for 4H and all the program has taught me will stay with me throughout my time at CSU, my professional career, and the rest of my life.
~Emily Howe, 2023 4-H scholarship recipient
There is no doubt I wouldn’t be where I am today if it weren’t for my upbringing and support of Routt County 4-H, and I aim to give back to youth by eventually becoming a 4-H leader and coach.
~Emmitt Meyring, 2023 4-H scholarship recipient
4-H will forever be relevant. 4-H is raising the next generation of farmers, ranchers, engineers, and leaders in America. I feel beyond blessed that I was lucky enough to be one of the youth, impacted and raised by 4-H.
~Leona Thurston 2022 4-H scholarship recipient
The Routt County 4-H Scholarship Foundation aims to empower rural youth by offering scholarships that alleviate the financial strain of higher education. As we celebrate our 20th year, we continue to support high school and continuing education students from Routt County. We believe in the leadership potential of 4-H youth and are committed to nurturing it through higher education. Your contribution will directly fund scholarships, ensuring educational opportunities for current and future generations of 4-H youth.
The Routt County 4-H Scholarship Foundation is a locally funded and operated non-profit organization that began in 1994 and started with a $500 donation. The foundation offers over 9 scholarship types for high school and continuing education students who have been active in 4-H. Since inception, the Routt County 4-H Scholarship Foundation has awarded 384 scholarships totaling over $693,450. The foundation continues to raise funds and take donations to build the endowment with a goal of some day reaching $1 million.
