Supporters of Fairview IB

A nonprofit organization

Supporters of Fairview IB has the mission to remove barriers to the International Baccalaureate program so that as many students as possible can take advantage of our unique open option. We provide financial support through IB teacher training, course materials, scholarships, and test proctoring.

Testimonials

"My favorite part of the program was the camaraderie and the "all in this together" mindset. Everyone in the diploma program understands what the others are going through."
"I would have to say I enjoyed the classes the most of any component of the Diploma. I have had excellent teachers who have taught me a lot in every subject. That being said, the other components of the diploma: Theory of Knowledge; Creativity, Action and Service; and the Extended Essay differentiate the experience from just taking IB classes."
"I wanted to challenge myself. I knew I was going to take all of the classes anyway and I felt like doing the entire diploma was like putting a bow on everything and making me into a pretty package."
"I wanted to challenge myself, be a part of a motivated group of students, and possibly go internationally for college."

Mission

Fairview High School offers a unique Honors Program, one where students can mix traditional courses with portions of the International Baccalaureate curricula and the full IB Diploma. It is designed to allow students to craft ideal curricular pathways suited for individual goals and interests. The aim of the world-wide IB Program is to "develop internationally minded people who, recognizing their common humanity and shared guardianship of the planet, help to create a better and more peaceful world."
