Sacred Voices is a 501(c)(3) local nonprofit organization that fosters unity and healing among BIPOC youth in Denver. 

Your donations support a wide range of programming, including community open mics, workshops, and curated community events. Sacred Voices also gives back to artists by featuring and paying local Denver artists at our open mics and offering professional development opportunities to youth on how to hone their creative craft with a pencil. It also helps provide up-and-coming young artists an opportunity to be discovered.

Mission

Sacred Voices' mission is to empower BIPOC youth to find their voice, embrace their culture, become community leaders, and promote artistic expression in the Denver metro area.

Sacred Voices envisions a society where young people are empowered as individuals to express themselves creatively, heal collectively, and unite as strong leaders for positive change.

Background Statement

Sacred Voices is a Denver-based, BIPOC+, youth-focused organization committed to the success and support of youth poets and writers.

Founded in 2004, originally known as Cafe Cultura, Since rebranding and renaming, we have built a community of committed, aspiring new artists, and young minds that are bringing a new way of shaping how poetry and the arts are being seen in Denver. Sacred Voices promotes creative development for young artists to hone their craft and fosters equitable opportunities for emerging artists to be discovered every day.
