Testimonials
"The help we received from Sharing Connexion has allowed us to continue to stay in the facility and neighborhood, where we have been relationship-building and serving for several years... Through their support, we will successfully and effectively continue to help positively transform individuals and families who seek our service." Dara Goldsby, Executive Director of Caring and Sharing Community Resources and Transformation Center
"It has been a pleasure working with Sharing Connexion. They are truly committed to the affordable housing industry and showed great flexibility in working with our tight timelines” - Joe Delzotto, CEO of Delwest - developer of Holly 38 – providing 253 units of affordable housing in North Denver.
"The bridge loan was a breeze. You all were easy to deal with and always solution oriented." - Gerry Flynn, Polar Star Properties, and developer of Spring Creek Apartments providing 282 units of affordable and workforce housing in Gypsum County.
"We appreciate all of our donors, but we had limited resources to manage the donation and disposition process for a gift of real property. From dealing with estate lawyers to coordinating efforts with the property management company to fixing up the house to get a better ROI to closing out the tax and utility accounts after the property sold, SCI handled it all effectively and efficiently. The staff at SCI were consistently communicating with us about the process and always available to talk over options.” – Karl Souza ~Director of Finance & Operations – Xerces Society, Inc.
"Sharing Connexion quickly became a key advisor in coaching us through the financial aspects of a nonprofit building purchase. I especially appreciated their creative solutions to financing problems that can sometimes be daunting to community organizations. Sharing Connexion's advice and investment made it possible for us to purchase our building and continue our mission of employing individuals, rebuilding lives. We are so thankful for their help!" - James Reiner, Executive Director of Bud's Warehouse

Founded in 2015, Sharing Connexion began with a concept to use proven real estate industry skills and resources to empower and support the nonprofit industry in Colorado. The founder and board president, Ed Anderson, established and remains the Chief Executive Officer for a for-profit real estate investment firm, Connexion Asset Group (CAG). Other real estate professionals with extensive experience and complimentary desire to give back with their expertise and skills joined the board of directors and advisory board. The board focused on identifying and assisting with real estate solutions for charitable organizations, especially affordable housing organizations and determined that Sharing Connexion exists to provide real estate resources, solutions and support to nonprofits and affordable housing organizations.
We built out our programming model focusing on Real Estate Impact, Real Estate Rescue, and Real Estate Donations, running pilots for our programs. In 2016, we made our first real estate impact loan. In 2018, we launched our first partnership projects under the Real Estate Donation program and the Real Estate Rescue program. All pilot programs are now complete, proving their viability, their community impact, and their replicability for other projects. Now, we have completed multiple Real Estate Donation projects, completed our second Real Estate Impact loan, and we are now in our second Real Estate Rescue program. These programs are strong, unique, and sorely needed in our current real estate landscape.
Since its founding, the organization was volunteer run, but in early 2019, we hired our first staff, an Operations Director, and launched new communications and marketing outlining our programs. In 2019 through 2021, we have completed numerous projects. We continue to hear about the overwhelming need for our services and demand continues to increase with a large pipeline of projects for the coming months. Sharing Connexion is now in scaling mode. We are hiring additional staff to increase capacity and have big strategic plans for our future. We also have goals to strengthen our organization including work on DEI, accessibility and community development, and listening to constituents and evaluating impact. We are building a strong foundation so that as we scale, we are a healthy organization doing truly charitable work within our Colorado community and beyond.
