Sleeping Giant PTIC

The Sleeping Giant Parent Teach Involvement Committee (PTIC) strives to provide Sleeping Giant School with financial resources that directly impact our teachers, staff, and students. Currently we are looking to furnish cross country ski-gear and snowshoes for school wide outdoor education, art room supplies, literacy enhancing materials to those middle schoolers who need a little extra help, and to our elementary school students (two separate and statistically proven programs). 

The PTIC also finances author visits, teacher and bus driver appreciation events to increase retention, and additional curriculum and classroom education materials not covered by the school district. Our goal this year is to provide each grade with a supplementing education request. Concurrently, we also aim to provide our West Steamboat school with a strong sense of community by hosting events that encourage parent and outside organization partnerships.
