Mission

Slow Food USA and Slow Food Boulder County strive to create a world where all people can eat food that is good for them, good for the people who grow it, and good for the planet.

Background Statement

Slow Food Boulder County is an entirely volunteer-driven organization dedicated to supporting our local farmers and enriching our community. Through grassroots efforts, we build meaningful connections between small businesses, local markets, and the people who live here. Our mission is to promote a sustainable food culture by connecting consumers with local farmers, preserving traditional culinary knowledge, and advocating for local, responsibly sourced ingredients. We work together to create opportunities that uplift small-scale producers, foster community engagement, and celebrate the bounty of our region.
