Founded in 1979, Sonlight is an independent non-profit youth camp. We are a year round camp, focusing on youth resident camps and a youth backpack program in the summer months, and a facility to host user groups in non-summer months. We are governed by a volunteer Board of Directors, comprised of alumni, camper parents, community leaders and former staff. Sonlight has a rich tradition of community and generational connectedness. There has been only two pairs of directors in the 42 year history, providing steady leadership and commitment to the founding values.
