Step Seven Ministries is established on a three-pillar foundation: recovery-based small groups, sober living homes, and a recovery-based church service. This comprehensive approach provides men in our program with the necessary tools to build a sustainable life beyond addiction while immersing them in a Christ-centered environment.
Upon entering Step Seven's recovery program, men begin in Phase One. This mandatory phase consists of a 12-week discipleship course covering 12 core values that Step seven holds dear and that a Christ-centered man should consistently display. Additionally, participants engage in a recovery-based small group that delves into the previous church service. They also attend our recovery-based Sabbath church service and adhere to a 10:00 p.m. curfew for the initial 90 days.
In the second phase. Leadership development program, we concentrate on refining the process of becoming a Christ-centered leader. During this phase, men undergo an additional 90 days of intensive leadership training, including house leader and small group training. They also participate in three workshops that cover topics such as understanding their personality type and how to leverage it for effective leadership, overcoming sexual sin and addiction, and financial literacy to ensure sustainable success.
Step Seven Ministries adopts a complete approach to addiction recovery, addressing all aspects of addiction, identifying root causes, and equipping individuals with the necessary life skills and tools to combat and overcome their dependencies. Our sober living homes provide a supportive environment where men can forge new identities outside of drugs and alcohol and new identities in Christ, establishing life skills and routines critical for their success.
At Step Seven Ministries, we fully comprehend the need for women's recovery. In this endeavor, we collaborate with TLC Ministries, an organization that specializes in women's recovery, adhering to the same three fundamental pillars that guide Step Seven.
