Mission

Teller County Search and Rescue's Mission statement is "locating and rescuing people in all areas of Teller County and portions of the surrounding area. Any trail, any mountain, always ready, always there, so others may live."

Background Statement

Teller County Search and Rescue (TCSAR) is an all-volunteer, not-for-profit, urban, wilderness and mountain search and rescue team based in Teller County, Colorado. The team operates under the jurisdiction of the Teller County Sheriff's Office. We have been consistently helping our county and state since 1969.

Since January 1, 2024 we spent 1,927 man hours on searches for lost subjects, and 5,220 total volunteer hours as a team.
