Founded in 2017, Artibus creates new performances, adaptations, and collaborative community projects for adults and children, in order to forge connections, dissolve barriers, and celebrate the human experience.

Theatre Artibus means ‘of the arts’ in Latin.
Theatre Artibus creates original work, produced in collaboration by an ensemble of artists, often with as few words as possible. Our style blends non-verbal storytelling, metaphor, movement, slapstick physical comedy, and audience-forward forms such as theatrical clown and mask play.
Resident theatre company of The Savoy Denver (a historic social hall located in the Five Points/Curtis Park neighborhood of Denver) Artibus’ performances celebrate community achievements, amplify often-unheard voices, and strengthen Denver’s intersection of communities.
We often begin with an empty room and a theme, building the story and characters through physical exploration.
Founders Buba and Meghan have 20 years of global experience, with a particular focus on theatre for social change and non-verbal storytelling. Buba was in the national pantomime theatre of Georgia for almost 15 years before coming to the United States.
