Mission

We increase the capacity to care for people and create positive changes for our county's residents through funding local agencies and by working in community partnerships.

Background Statement

Seeing a need for funding and coordination of local charities, Frances Wisebart Jacobs, along with a priest, two ministers and a rabbi, came together to form what is now known as United Way. United Ways are now located all across the world and provide funding, coordination, and referrals to over 1,800 communities. United Way of Morgan County in Fort Morgan was created in 1958, and has since been providing funding to local nonprofits who are all a vital part of our close knit community, for 65 years now. We currently fund 18 Partner Agencies in addition to supporting community projects and programs that enhance the health, education and financial stability of everyone in our community.
