Colfax Avenue isn’t just a street—it’s where some of your best memories were made. Maybe it was a late-night bite at an iconic diner after a night out, your first concert at the Fillmore or Ogden, or discovering a one-of-a-kind gift in a quirky shop. Colfax has always been the beating heart of Denver.
Now, as the Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) construction begins, our community needs your help more than ever to preserve the beloved businesses that give Colfax its unmistakable character. The Upper Colfax Community Foundation, the nonprofit arm of the Colfax Ave Business Improvement District (BID), which stretches from Grant Street to Josephine Street, is dedicated to supporting the independent businesses within our boundaries. This year, our fundraising initiative focuses on offering vital assistance to those businesses impacted by the BRT project.
Your support ensures that the vibrant, resilient spirit of Colfax—where memories are made and will continue to be made—thrives for generations to come. Together, we can preserve the soul of Colfax, so Denver’s favorite street remains a place for music, laughter, discovery, and memories.
