Testimonials

"You are in our prayers for donations that you seek so that you can be of help to more families in our valley that would so greatly benefit from the care that you provide. Without the services that you lovingly give him (Dad), we would be faced with no other choice than to place him in skilled nursing care instead of living out his final years in the presence of his family. " LM
"I have taken my mother to the center on a regular basis for several years now. She is 98, suffering from dementia and is wheelchair dependent due to stroke, but enjoys the personal, compassionate care she receives including being bathed and fed. They also employ their skills in crafts." VL
" Just a note of thanks for the wonderful help you have given to both my wife, Babs an I. Your Day Care Center is certainly a great help for people in our community." HT

Mission

Our mission is to offer participants an opportunity to build friendships, have stimulating activities in a safe environment, serving with compassion, consideration to others, serving as unto the Lord. We desire to enhance the lives of elders struggling with Alzheimer's dementia, mildly handicapped but frail, those elderly with other issues that just need some minimal care, other handicaps needing full A.D.L.S. assistance, and those fully ambulatory, living alone or hospital recovery. We desire to provide caregivers a break, allow them the opportunity of rest, return to work, get other projects done, while seniors are in a safe, professionally staffed Care Center. This program can allow full-time caregivers to return to the workforce, or simply take a few hours to shop or recreate without fears for the safety of their loved ones. We also aim to provide Assisted Living and Overnight Respite through our Sister Organization.

Background Statement

Valley to Valley started as a dream in 2004 when Yvonne Braden after taking care of seniors in home for six years saw a great need. She knew of many seniors that were lonely, families that had a hard time balancing work, caring for seniors and family. She went about creating everything, pulling like minded persons together, building a facility, creating policies and procedures. Having a 40 year background in Healthcare, she wanted all hoops jumped and be a "Service Excellence" facility. 2007 doors open, BOD, staff and grantors making it happen financially, step one done. Each year inspections were passed, client base grew, families wrote letters of gratitude for all the effort, the wonderful care of their loved ones and donations came available to help those that could not afford acre without assistance. Caring, compassion, dignity maintained and nursing available became the flag. Provision was and is still prayed or, and to this day, the Center helps those in need, and giving quality, joy to those in the fall or winter of life to enjoy the time with family, friends and community the goal. Getting to know tht they are valued for their donation to life, and now receive love, joy and peace along this path a reward.
