About: We are a veteran led, 501c3 chartered non-profit organization that began in 2010, to enhance the lives of our nation’s Veterans. We understand the issues and struggles Veterans deal with every day. We are a community oriented and outdoor focused organization. We build community outdoors on our trips that extends home with each veteran participant. We run over 40 trips annually getting over 700 military veterans outside and tied into our community.
Our Vision: An outdoor community fully committed to one another and leveraging veteran leadership skills that reconnects service members to one another, the land they fought for, and outdoor employment opportunities.
Our Goal: Create an outdoor community that builds trust, comradeship, and support networks among veterans during trips and in their home communities. Create opportunities for employment in the outdoor industry and related fields. Improve the veteran’s quality of life.

We were founded in 2010. Our first major trip was on 9/11/10. We were founded under the principle that we understood our community better than those who have not served. We knew of the power of creating high quality outdoor experiences led by our qualified military veteran leaders. The community that is created on these veteran run trips and expeditions is the true tangible of our program. The community is ever lasting. A living, breathing thing that follows our veteran participant's home. We put this trip leading model to the test on mountains like Denali in Alaska and Mt. Logan in the Yukon of Canada. Having success on those major expeditions with our teams self guiding themselves and running all of their own logistics etc., reinforced that we have the leadership and the ability to run our own expeditions anywhere.
We currently run over 40 trips annually Nationwide. These trips and expeditions get around 700 vets outside every year. Many thousands of military and veterans have been out on our trips and are active members in our community. Our current emphasis is on getting non-veteran supporters and sponsors out with us to show them our community first hand. We have several new films on our fly fishing, mountain biking, and climbing trips that help illustrate what it is like being a team member on our trips.
