We Matter Learning, a Northern Colorado-based nonprofit, is dedicated to supporting students' social and emotional development by collaborating with schools and educational programs. We provide personalized social-emotional lessons tailored to the unique needs of each classroom, helping students build critical skills in the areas of self-awareness, social awareness, and relationship building.
Through this funding opportunity, we aim to expand our impact by continuing to offer the following:
Personalized Social-Emotional Lessons: Our lessons are designed to address the specific social and emotional needs of students, fostering growth in self-awareness, social interactions, and healthy relationships. These lessons are tailored to meet the diverse needs of classrooms across Northern Colorado.
Guardian Newsletters: We send newsletters to guardians that align with the skills being taught in the classroom. These newsletters offer insights into the students' learning and provide tips for reinforcing the lessons at home, ensuring a consistent approach to social and emotional growth both in and out of school.
Professional Development for Educators: We offer training programs for educators that focus on self-care and emotional wellness. By supporting teachers' own emotional health, we aim to create a positive and balanced learning environment that benefits both educators and students.
Community Involvement: We actively participate in community events, providing resources and activities to help families with younger children develop emotional regulation skills. By working together with local communities, we strive to create a nurturing environment that supports emotional well-being from an early age.
This funding opportunity will enable us to continue and expand our work, ensuring that more students, educators, and families in Colorado can benefit from our programs.
By supporting We Matter Learning, you are helping students, teachers, and families across Colorado develop the emotional skills they need to thrive. Your contributions will go directly toward our programs, allowing us to provide more personalized lessons, educator training, and community support. Together, we can make a meaningful difference in the lives of students and educators in our community.
